The 9/18/76 show aired on SXM back in 2011. Oddly enough they kept part of the intro to the Sam Cooke song in the show. Reason being that sets up the song at #5 Lou Rawls' "You'll Never Find Another Love". What's weird is they obviously cut the Sam Cooke song out. But the story is that Lou Rawls is singing on the song. Because Casey mentions Lou during the intro to the song, you don't hear his name until after. So you get Casey telling a rather odd paced story and then suddenly saying "Here's Lou at #5" which would lead unknowing listeners to ask "Lou who?"

Ask and ye shall receive... Next week's "A" show is indeed from 9/18/1971: www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/09-18-71.pdfWhile the "B" show is from 9/27/1975: www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/09-27-75.pdfAnd the 1975 extras remain the same as before: John Fogerty - Rockin' All Over the World Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run ABBA - S.O.S. As to 1971...circumstances force me to be a little different with the clues this week, so - here goes. Among this week's extras, you'll be able to find at least fourteen men (!), and one woman - at least, if Wikipedia is to be taken as the Gospel Truth upon checking for one of these. And only one of the three songs never spent any time at #1. Good luck! Actually on the 9-27-75 while Larry did intro ABBA-SOS what was played was ABBA-The Name of the Game

^Abigail Radio and A1R Psychic Radio apparently are ran by the same people. A1R must be more profitable. I had never had the "psychic lady" problem on Abigail Radio, but this week my DAR.FM recording got it for both the 80's and 70's AT 40 time slots. This now officially annoying!!

When the show was aired back in 2011, there were stations which also played the correct song. The stations I found that played "The Name Of The Game" are all non-US stations. Maybe the error was only found on the international version of the show.

There's one important thing that wasn't considered when guessing this week's extras.
My clue referred to 14 men, and one woman.
The woman is, obviously, Cher. So "Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves" was correct. And it's that same song that's the reason I said "at least" 14 men and one woman.
So, what about the men? 11 of them did in fact come from The Highwaymen. But, the "Michael" in the song's title makes 12! Yes, artist AND song title were considered for this (as also evidenced with Cher).
So, what about the other two? Look no further than the song no one guessed - "A Natural Man" (13) by Lou Rawls (14).
And, there we have it. This week's extras are:
The Highwaymen - Michael (original AT40 extra) Lou Rawls - A Natural Man Cher - Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves

^And the gypsies, tramps & thieves don"t count. LOL, we have no way of distinguishing men/women there. Thus why the clue was "at least" 14 men and one woman.

Prediction...OK, so none this week since I think we already know what's going to be played. Unless PRN pulls a switcheroo, it should be the last show originally played before they added the fourth hour.

I do wish they were playing 9/20/75 this week; that was the week I was born, and it would have been a nice way to finish up my "top 40."
