Mike (or anyone else)... any updates regarding which 1978 show will be aired? Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on confirmation myself (and I've love to know what the hell the holdup is...!). Barring a last-minute change in plans - one that would likely see a change in year, methinks - I would defer to what's been posted above. With one station saying for sure that it'll be 1978, and 4/29 having aired two years ago, that is indeed not likely to be repeated again as a stand-alone. ETA: www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/04-22-78.pdfThat's assuming that it is a stand-alone.

It has to be 4/22/78 unless there is some issue with the remastering process or something like that. Not likely that they would repeat a show from two years ago...

They'd do so for a B show. It will be April 22nd 1978 for sure. The thing is we don't know for sure or even if that's the only option.

A couple weeks ago I was told both 70s and 80s would have only one show apiece for the last week of April. Wasn't told either date, though, until being told 84 on Friday (though given Premiere's prerogative with A/B 80s so far, that one was pretty easy to figure out anyway). So...if that turns out to not be the case for the 70s, it'd mean there was a schedule change done recently.

Yes they would, but the only way 1978 would be aired this weekend as a B-show is if it were paired with a 1971 or '72 show. And since we've already gotten shows from both of those years in April, there is a next to zero chance they would be aired again this coming weekend. So it's highly likely that 1978 gets aired as an A show, which means it's highly likely it will be 4/22/78...though you never know for sure until it's made official.

Well, let's end the speculation (finally).
4/22/1978 it is. Cue sheet was posted on the previous page.

I'll predict extras, these could apply to either: Linda Ronstadt - Tumbling Dice Heart - Heartless Carly Simon - You Belong To Me (I'm sure this would be an ideal situation for JessieLou) PLEASE. BE. RIGHT. OMG.

Questions;
Re: last weeks April 10, 1971 show -- did they remove the AT40 logo right before Van Morrison's "Blue Money" at #23? My recording goes right from the outro of #24, the tease of an act from Ireland and then Casey says "he's at #23" and the song is starting. I know they chopped the show up a bit to reconfigure an original AT40 extra back into the show and remove the Osmonds commercials that made it into the 2012 airing, but I wanted to make sure my recording wasn't otherwise botched. Speaking of which...
Does anyone else run into weird 'drop-outs' when recording from iHeart stations? I've ran into this on at least 3 iHeart stations that I record off of. The audio will cut out for about 11 or 12 seconds (this last week, it happened during both "Auutobahn' AND "It's A Miracle") as well as other tinier 'skips' of a second or two each.

The audio will cut out for about 11 or 12 seconds (this last week, it happened during both "Auutobahn' AND "It's A Miracle") as well as other tinier 'skips' of a second or two each. I get that almost every week. WQSR, WODC, KODJ, etc. will more often than not have two or three dropouts during the show that take out some of the original audio. Part of why I record from at least two stations each weekend--if you get a dropout in which a few seconds of the show is actually lost, you can patch in the missing audio from another station. As for the 4/10/71 show, I passed on it since I already heard it from the last time Premiere played, but it sounds like it might be due to a skip in the stream of the station that you were using. Maybe not, but that would be my hunch--especially if both split logos are missing (Premiere has been known to edit out one of the two split logos at a segment break from time to time on some of the early 70's shows, but not both). If the show had been from SXM, then I might guess that it was one of their edits, but that doesn't sound like one Premiere would do.
