As we listen to the 1976 countdown this weekend, think about this.
WHAT IF A Fifth Of Beethoven, which became the Billboard #10 song of the year, had been re-released, as part of the SNF soundtrack, and went on to become #1 AGAIN in 1978, and became the #9 song of the year, bigger than Boogie Oogie Oogie or Grease or Three Times A Lady.
This is exactly what happened with The Twist.
#10 song of the year, and #9 two years later.
Incredible.
