I was looking at the Billboard Hot 100 charts from August and September 1981 the other day and I noticed something very fascinating. That song of the songs/artists that were in the Top 40 that month have names that are the same as relatives of mine. Let me gives you the details:
Elvira--The Oak Ridge Boys. My late grandmothers name was Elvira. Jessie's Girl--Rick Springfield. I have a uncle named Jessie. Arthur's Theme (The Best That You Can Do)--Christopher Cross. My dad's name is Arthur Give It To Me Baby and Superfreak by Rick James. I have 2 uncles named James. And finally, there is the song, "Double Dutch Bus" by Frankie Smith. In that song, Frankie mentioned several female names and one of them is the name Lolita. And believe or not, I also have a cousin named Lolita. I know Casey once said that sometimes that artist and songs on the charts are one big happy family, well during the month of August and September 1981, names of my family were well represented.

With all those relatives in the 40, it's like a band of kihn.
