Back in the 70's, KJR Seattle Channel 950 aired AT40 on Sunday nights, so it was nice when they picked up the rebroadcasts a couple years ago (after KBSG bit the dust). This morning, I tuned in at 8 ... no AT40, just the same tired oldies KJR likes to beat into the ground. Very disappointing. I'll still be able to listen to it online on other stations, but am hoping another local picks it up.

That's too bad--I haven't used KJR very often since it is not a convenient time slot for me, but they did a nice job with the show the few times I have used them. Oh well...

This is one of the stations I monitor via yes.com. Indeed, that was the second week in a row that they didn't play AT40. I've seen a couple of instances where stations didn't play the show for two weeks in a row; but if they don't play it next week, I think it will make sense to modify the list of stations.
Another interesting thing I found is that for the past three weeks WWRW has played the 7/8/72 show.

I also noticed that KJR wasn't running AT40 this past weekend. I agree it was one station that did a nice job with it.

I also missed last year's Nov/Dec shows because KJR was doing an all Xmas format. So glad I am online now, don't have to depend on the local stations. KJR is a mess right now, advertising "oldies are back", yet it's all talk weekday mornings with Bob Rivers...and they've added Steve Slaton, a dj who's made no secret of his hatred for anything on the mellow side of music. His old slogan on KZOK" "no rap, no disco, and no music by the group Bread". huh?

Certainly not the KJR I remember listening to during my college years at the Univ of Washington.
