How do you guys do it?

Stupid player ALWAYS stops in the middle of the show. If I am not there to hit the "NEXT" button, the show never finishes. So, unattended recording is impossible. Problem is sometimes the stream will stop in the middle of a section. For example, the stream will stop in the middle of hour 2 part 3. I could hit the NEXT button to go to hour 2 part 4, but then I am still missing part of part 3. Of course, sometimes the NEXT button does nothing, so I have to start all over again.

Usually, I give up after a few tries during the week. However this is the year-end countdown part 2, so I want a copy of the show.

Stupid Rick. Why do you have to use such a crappy player/system???

I discovered that different browsers f.e. IE and Firefox can give you completely different results. Example:
IE stops at Hour 3 part 3, while Firefox plays it all the way or Firefox doesn't start at all, while IE works...

And there are as well different results depending which day you listen...

Weird, but true.

This is what I do: Copy the address that comes up in the player, paste it into either a FULL IE window or Firefox, then i disconnect from the internet for a period of at least 4 mins, while I wait for the "Advertising" window at the bottom to try to reconnect and once it doesn't, then reconnect to the internet an play the show. This will get rid of the annoying "clicks" or worse, the "1/2 seconds of dead air" that occur everytime the "Ad" window trys to load a new "Ad".

I have had problems in the past where the stream would just stop in the middle of the show. But thats an easy fix, just continue recording from the point where the show stopped. You can use the 'next track' button to move the show along to where it stopped previously, an resume recording from there. I've dont that in the past, but this year, didnt have any problems w/ the show continuing all the way to the end.......so far.
