Maybe he was advertising his site all over the forums or something? If so, I can see why he was banned. If you're going to advertise, that's why there is a thing called a signature. He did exactly that. He also didn't post about anything else.

Does anyone know of any other sites that post past shows for download, or does anyone trade? I'm able to record the SiriusXM shows, but have yet to be able to get the Premiere shows. The Black Swan guy had the latest shows, but has now started charging to download. I'm looking for last weeks shows (11/5/83 and 11/5/77). Thanks!!

I'm surprised that Blackswan has been able to get away with what he's doing.

Maybe he's finally done for. In either event, I really am glad I downloaded what I wanted from that site while I should. EDIT: I couldn't access his site at work, but I can at home.

Initally, I was taken aback by the Blackswan sharing and his mass posting. Looking back, it may have been someone who could 1) Setup an interactive website, 2) Might have loved AT40 and just discovered the network shows, 3) Got excited to share. I didn't see/think he had adds on his site? If someone wanted "hits" to a site, he'd have TnA, not AT40.

I can access his site, but the earlier poster was right, he is now charging to access the shows. You have to paypal him to get an account and can only see the shows when you "log in"
Pretty sad really.

If he's charging to download recent premiere (or any) shows now, then eff him.

A big eff him from me...he spams our forum and then charges us for stuff for which he has no legal rights. Kudos to kahunaburger for being the first to call him out.

He's basically charging in three ways, on the front page is a link if you'd like to donate to keep the site running, then if you want to actually download anything you need to join the site and pay to do so and finally if you don't want to wait to download you need to pay to join the sharing site. The stuff he has is great quality but I never liked that all of his shows are broken into 5 min segments. So after being downloaded you can keep them like that as 40 some odd tracks, or as I did, link them all back together again to make one continuous show.

Hmm, I was going to pay the dollar to download some of the shows on his site. But when you say they are all in 5 minute segments and I would have to link them up again....a not so sure proposition, I may decide not to.

Yeah, I have no idea why they are in five minute clips but they are. It's not like the individual songs or segments are tracks, it's just five minute tracks. Songs, segments, everything is broken up. When you link them back together it's pretty much seamless. But it's still a pain to have to download then glue the show back together, and hope you don't have a clip missing or in the wrong position!!!

And he's got Rick Dee's countdown shows there too. Yawn, why bother since it's the same ones you can get for free at www.rick.com

There's sometimes gaps, clicks, pops and other artifacts.

Depends, if its record pops and such, its ok, if its because of the edit, then no. I disagree with "selling" AT40 this way!
