I've run into an issue with this station since I started listening a few weeks back: despite currently having 140 80s shows in the lineup, they have a tendency to repeat a particular show too close together. An example is the 12/6/1986 show that's on now: this is the third time in less than a month that it has aired. With as many shows they have available to air, there's no excuse for that.

Whats the current rotation of 70s vs. 80s shows? I remember they used to alternate, which came out to 4 70s shows and 4 80's shows every day... however I've heard they've been shorting the 70s shows and playing a 5th (and 6th?) 80's show every day.

I've been keeping track of the shows being played since early August, and while there are numerous instances of 2 80's shows being played backed to back, it doesn't happen every day. Most of the time the shows do alternate between the 70's and 80's. |

Two 70s shows have played back-to-back for probably the first time: 7/8/1972 was followed by 2/5/1977 (on now). Now they're playing a third one: 6/30/1979. |

A definite clue that these shows are played in no particular order: 2/9/1980 just finished and 12/8/1979 is on now.

11/29/1980: The second segment of Hour 4 (songs 5 through 7, plus a LDD) are missing. FYI, during the last broadcast of 11/29/1980 (on Nov. 15th), the missing songs were restored. |
