Much has been made about "One Hit Wonders" but you don't hear much about artists who only had two hits hit AT 40 or CT 40. Who would you consider the biggest "Two Hit Wonder" during the last 52 years?
I want to say Tone Loc has to be up there hitting numbers two and three with "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medena", respectfully. Some others that come to mind off the top of my head are Falco, A-Ha, and Donna Lewis. While the three artists I just mentioned didn't have as successful of a second hit, they were all top 20. Meanwhile, their first hits were huge (especially Lewis).
Who are some of the biggest artists to only have two top 40 hits on American Top 40 and/or Casey's Top 40 for you?

With a #1 and a #2, I'd say Silver Convention wins by a nose over the other four acts mentioned so far. Probably the top 5 right there.

Another two hit wonder that hit the top 10 twice: Crowded House with Don't Dream It's Over and Something So Strong (#2 and #7). And while I was typing thought about Dan Hill, though not from an R and R standpoint.

I wonder if you count Dave Edmunds as a two hit AT40 wonder since in 1971 he made the top 5 with "I Hear You Knocking" and in 1983 he made 1 up from the bottom at #39 with "Slipping Away".

While neither hit #1, Jesus Jones had two top 5 hits in 1991 - "Right Here Right Now" and "Real Real Real".

Heard that first Jesus Jones hit in the AT40 show that also had Extreme and Tara Kemp in it. Here's another though not quite as big with their second hit.. Rhythm Syndicate..."P.A.S.S.I.O.N." (#2) and "Hello Donna" (#13) And EMF..."Unbelievable" (#1) and "Lies" (#18)
