For those of you who listen to various SiriusXM stations (besides American Top 40 on 70s on 7 and the Big VJ countdown on 80s on 8 )... what do you love, like, dislike, or want to change? If there has been a previous thread regarding their stations, I missed it when searching. Favorite stations for me: 70s on 7, 80s on 8, Classic Rewind, Classic Vinyl, 1st Wave, Soul Town, The Groove Favorite DJs: Alan Hunter, Richard Blade, Kristine Stone, Rachel Steele, Ken "Spider" Webb, Jeff Foxx; Earle Bailey gets an honorable mention Best branding: 70s on 7 Best station to get for free sometimes: Billy Joel Radio (love all of his stories regarding certain tunes) Things I would change: * 90s on 9... I get that Billboard is the #1 source for charts but if the station followed Radio & Records charts from the 90s (meaning more pop & rock leaning songs and less rap), I would likely listen more to 90s on 9. * The Bridge: Musically, I like it better now than three years ago as it is less "Yacht Rock"-ish today. Having said that, the voice over guy's voice doesn't match the feel of the station anymore. * The Spectrum: When I first started listening to SiriusXM, this was one of my favorites as it really crossed the spectrum of rock. Now, they seem to feature select new artists too much. I may upgrade from the Mostly Music plan to a higher tier... I easily get my $15 a month's worth listening to their stations.

I like the recent changes to The Blend, giving it a more classic AC sound.
I agree with you about the 90s on 9 reliance on the Hot 100. There was a major disconnect between that chart and pop radio hits that grew wider in the latter half of the decade.
I like 80s on 8, but strongly believe the playlist could be improved.
I don't like that they removed Love from the main channel lineup.
Overall, I don't like how the service in general has gravitated more and more to sound like terrestrial radio. I feel like many people signed up for the service to get away from the same-old-same-old.

Favorite Channel--60's Gold
Enjoy Phlash Phelps and
Pat St. John.
I also like the Bridge when I am in a mellow mood.
I have enjoyed radio Classics (OTR) since I first got a satellite radio in 2003.

I luvvv the seasonal Yacht Rock channel, though the playlist gets repetitive. The few times I've listened to the 60s countdown it appears to be professionally researched and entertaining. And of course Casey.
Other than that I've found very little redeeming value. The 70s has Tragic Matt with the same stupid jokes and American Pie/ Bohemian Rhapsody day after day year after year. And of course the 80s has the flub factories aka the former MTV VJs.
