As someone who grew up in the Detroit area and listening to CKLW (the Big 8) during the late 1960's and early 1970's, it was the station that gave me the inspiration to follow my dreams to be a DJ. The lady that was the music director at the station, Rosalie Trombley, who I learned later picked the hits that I heard on the radio, passed away at age 82. Bob Seger even wrote a song about her released in 1973. Condolences to her family. linkhttps://www.billboard.com/business/radio/rosalie-trombley-radio-broadcaster-dead-1235003556/
