Keith Allison, guitarist for Paul Revere & the Raiders passed away November 17 from natural causes. He was 79. A resemblance to Paul McCartney helped Keith land a role as a permanent audience member on Dick Clark's "Where The Action Is" in the late 60s. It was there where his and Paul Revere & The Raiders' careers crossed paths. He reluctantly joined the group in 1968 and remained until 1976 playing bass, guitar, and organ. Previous highlights were contributing guitar and harmonica to Sonny & Cher's "The Beat Goes On", music director/guitarist for Ray Peterson (Tell Laura I Love Her), and a member of the Crickets in the mid-sixties. He worked with Ringo Starr, Johnny Rivers, and made several contributions to multiple Monkees' albums. He had several acting credits on television and movies. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Tina Stern, two sisters, three children, 8 grand children and 3 great-grandchildren. Obituary
