I have a question about some of the shows in the American Top 40 Shadoe series. Sometimes, there would be a segment listed in the cue sheets as tributes to some artists. Did they ever play any music clips or songs from those artists - at least for the case of the 8/22/92 show for the drummer from Toto or on the 12/7/91 show for Queen? I never heard these 2 shows, so I am not sure if they played any music from them. Does anyone who may have heard these shows know?

I know for the Jeff Porcaro tribute, Shadoe played a medley of several of the songs that he played drums on.

Just curious: How are you folks hearing the Shadoe-era shows?

Just curious: How are you folks hearing the Shadoe-era shows? I happen to have the show with the Jeff Porcaro tribute that I found a few years ago.

I was wondering about that.

Here's what was played as a medley for the Freddie Mercury tribute:
"We Are the Champions" "We Will Rock You" "You're My Best Friend" "Somebody to Love" "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" "Under Pressure" (with David Bowie) "Bohemian Rhapsody"
Similar things were done for other artists, such as Roy Orbison, Del Shannon, Jim Henson, Sammy Davis Jr, and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
