Johnny Crawford passed away April 29 at the age of 75. He had been battling Alzheimer's and had contracted COVID-19. He began his career as one of the original Mouseketeers on the "Mickey Mouse Club". Johnny is best known for this role as Mark McCain on "The Rifleman" which ran from 1958 to 1963. He signed with Del-Fi records and reached the Top 40 four times in 1962-63, peaking at #8 with his first hit "Cindy's Birthday". After "The Rifleman" he guested on several TV series, and competed in several rodeo events over the next decade. He had honed his skills working with the extras on "The Rifleman". In his later years he would lead the Johnny Crawford Dance Orchestra a 20s-30s style group. Formed in 1992, they played at local events in the Southern California area. He is survived by his wife Charlotte, 2 stepdaughters, and a brother and sister. Obituary
