Of course, the week when the show stopped using the following week's chart in favor of the current week's...
There was a regular show and a "Top 40 Acts of the Rock Era" special...
One of them aired in 2007... neither since. Which was it? (My guess: the regular one.)

Doubt Premiere would offer the special, as it contains only acts that were big in the 1955-71 era. Not relevant to programmers in 2007, even to stations that still played early '70s material.

Outside of Premiere, I believe XM aired the Top 40 Acts special. In 2007, they aired a show from May 1, 1971 according to this site: www.lionking.org/~shadow/afl/at40onxm.html . If I remember correctly from listening at the time, it was the special.

I recall cutting the grass on that day, hearing part of the Top 40 artists of the rock era wishing I had recorded the show and thinking that they'll run it again but probably doubtful since the merger.

How about if Premiere updates the special with Casey AT40 bits as "The Top 40 Acts of the Casey AT40 Era 1970-1988"?

It would (could? might?) be his crowning achievement.
It would also be the most work he's **EVER** put into one show.
Only he can answer that for sure.
