A few notable passings in 2020 that were overlooked. - Jim Tucker, rhythm guitarist for the Turtles passed away at 74 on November 12. He was with the band from its inception until 1967. After leaving the band, Jim would have a successful career as an electrical contractor. Obituary- Kenny Jeremiah, lead singer of the Soul Survivors, died December 4 from COVID-19 complications. He was 78. In addition to lead vocals on "Expressway To Your Heart" and "Explosion In Your Soul", he was awarded a gold record as one of the lead vocalists on Shirley & Company's "Shame, Shame, Shame". Obituary- Michael McBride passed away in early November from unknown causes. He was in the group Cyrus Erie with Wally Bryson and Eric Carmen, and was later recruited to join the Raspberries for their final album "Starting Over". Michael provided the magnificent Keith Moon-like drumming for the Raspberries final Top 40 single "Overnight Sensation (Hit Record)". Obituary

Obituary- Pneumonia took the life of Geoff Stephens December 24 at the age of 86. A prolific songwriter, he co-wrote the top 10 singles "There's A Kind Of Hush", "Smile A Little Smile For Me", and "Daddy, Don't You Walk So Fast". Though he wasn't a member, Geoff formed The New Vaudeville Band writing and recording their #1 hit "Winchester Cathedral". A personal favorite is "My World Fell Down" recorded by the Ivy League in the UK and Sagittarius in the US. Sagittarius featured Glen Campbell, Bruce Johnston (Beach Boys, also wrote "I Write The Songs"), and Terry Melcher (Producer for Byrds and Paul Revere & the Raiders, Doris Day's son). Obituary
