Is song #3 "Get Dancin'"? After singing it to myself, I'm going to say "yup." The only reason I know this song at all is that it was on K-tel's Superhits of the Superstars -- the two-record set with the yellow cover.

After singing it to myself, I'm going to say "yup." Are you 'tiyahed'? Is your chiffon wet, dahling? And that ‘wet chiffon’ qualifies “Get Dancin’” as a correct response to the question found elsewhere on this forum about “lyrics that make no sense today.” The Disco Tex & The Sex-O-Lettes song also fits: *songs with lyrics that mention the artist by name *songs with lyrics that mention other song titles *songs with earlier endings *and your favorite songs from this weekend’s shows (must be somebody’s )

Journey in "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'" Yep - exactly 154 nahs. A little like Wham's "Edge of Heaven" -- that song apparently contained the word "yeah" a whopping 264 times or something like that...

I'm going to copycat Pete, though I only have one song: "Ooh wah wah ooh wah wah oooh..." any guesses?

"#9 Dream," John Lennon: "Ah, bowakawa, pousse pousse." A classic of the genre! A virtual made-up language, like Tolkien's Elvish...or Klingon!

And there was a dance song in the mid 1990's that would have made the Top 40 reaches but I remember hearing it on WBBM B-96 Chicago (A few years after the station dropped Casey's Top 40) called "La-La-La-Hey-Hey" by the Outhere Brothers (They also did "Boom-Boom-Boom" that was later featured in the Dreamworks animated movie "Madigascar"). Did Rick Dees ever play the Outhere Brothers as INSTANT REQUEST extras when he used a rhythm leaning chart 1995-1997?

Here are two more songs with a bunch of doo-doos and doot-doots...
* "Doot de-doot doo doo-doo-doo doot de-doot doo doo-doo-doo" is sung by Lou Reed (and "the colored girls") on "Walk On The Wild Side". * "Doot doot doo-doo-doo DOOOO! Doot doot. Doot doot doo-doo-doo DOOOO! Doot doot." is exclaimed towards the end of "TSOP" by MFSB.

There are some "shoo-doo-doos" throughout Mariah Carey's "Fantasy", and some "doo-doo-doos" througout "Always Be My Baby".
Expose's "What You Don't Know" has some "nah-nah-nahs" toward the end. And then there are the "oh, oh-oh-ohs" in "Tell Me Why".
