Pardon me for posting on this thread, but it is the only Country thread I am familiar with. Would anyone be interested in listening to a Top 40 Country Billboard Countdown for 08/26/1967? The Oldies Collection Channel will be running this countdown on Sunday, 08/27/2023. It will play twice, at 9am EST and 5pm EST. It will probably last about 3 hours.

I wished they would have gone with 8/27/1983, maybe they could have done that last year but they chose not to or hold back another week to air that. Perhaps with Labor Day weekend they might do a 90s show for next Wednesday... but we shall see.

I guess they're like what Premiere did for 2010 - feature a 1980 show two weeks ago and then that year again two weeks later. At least 8/30/1980 is a new show this time for KFYZ tonight... I missed a good one last night. 🙁 Had gotten up crazy early the past several mornings for work, and it just hit me. I have the 8/16/1980 show to listen to (and the 10/4/1980 show as well).

Realized I hadn't updated the Luke Combs scenario in a few weeks. "Love You Anyway" reached the top last weekend, so he is now 18 for 18 in #1 hits. Amazing!
