Older number jingles this time around, and the previous week's show on KFYZ had a lot of number jingles in the beginning of the 1st hour.
Also the presentation has changed slightly, at the end of the first/second (and if they'll do 4 hour shows again the third hour) the voiceover will indicate that more ACC with Bob Kingsley continues in a moment while the end of hour theme continues to run. At the beginning the voiceover also notes about the special program before the theme music kicks in.

This week, KFYZ takes us on a journey back to 3/17/1984. Kicking off the show is "To All The Girls I've Loved Before" by Willie Nelson & Julio Iglesias. Just two weeks later, it would debut on AT40. It would eventually peak at #1 on ACC, and #5 on AT40. Some on here may not care for it, but I love that song.

I’m actually not a big fan of that song… BUT… I’m a DIEHARD fan of Willie. I’ve seen him in concert 29 times. Met him in 2001.

It would eventually peak at #1 on ACC, and #5 on AT40. Some on here may not care for it, but I love that song. There was a very rare (for the time) oldie included. After the No. 19 song – the Ray Charles and George Jones duet " We Didn't See a Thing" – the oldie was Jones' classic rockabilly song " White Lightning" (written by the Big Bopper) and Jones' first No. 1 hit from March 1959. Side note: It's been awhile since I've heard this particular show, but I wonder if Bob played the original Mercury (likely non-stereo) recording (from September 1958, per Praguefrank, which has a whole database like this) or if it was a later remake (likely, his 1977 version made while at Epic Records; ACC was known in its early years to play remakes of many classic country songs in lieu of original, non-stereo originals). I'm on vacation, and it wasn't posted in this thread, but I think 3/20/1982 might have aired last year, also. March is a bit spotty since I started catching the shows then. When I get back I can check to see if that was the case.

Hopefully they will rotate and not play the same chart weeks too often, while WSM-AM is going in order with the shows, rarely skipping a CT40 show in the process. We should by this Saturday get into the April 2007 charts for WSM-AM.

2nd 1985 show of this year, but still no 1983 show this year which if it continues could air pretty light and be a year-ender candidate. I think we may see one in April, let alone a 4-hour show that month and upcoming months...
