Speaking of Chicago, "Just You 'n Me" takes an interesting left turn in the middle.

Speaking of "Band on the Run", there's "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey". I wouldn't count that song, since it has the title for the second part of the song. Exactly. "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" is a direct descendant of side two of "Abbey Road", which contains several such multi-song medleys, including "Mean Mr. Mustard/Polythene Pam/She Came In Through the Bathroom window" and "Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End". Going back even further in Beatle history, there were the two disparate parts of "A Day In the Life" that were combined into one song.

How about Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird" and Blackfoot's "Highway Song". Two similar-sounding songs, not one song that turns into another. Similar to Pink Floyd's "Comfortavbly Numb" and Queensryche's "Silent Lucidity". In both cases the latter is sort of an 'homage' to the former. "Free Bird" actually would fit the bill, as it changes tempo and melody partway through. Not familiar with "Highway Song" (by the mention of the title and artist alone, anyway) - does that one change in the middle as well?

Prince's Batdance is a good example, imo.

Quite similar to "Free Bird" in that respect, and in it's general theme. It's like Blackfoot said "Gol durn it, we're a southern band, we need us a 'Free Bird'!"

Prince's Batdance is a good example, imo. Good call -- and "Batdance" is actually broken up into three different "songs" (though I think the edited version typically cut the third part where it sped up again). Another song that comes to mind (though it didn't make the top 40) is Ozzy Osbourne's "No More Tears" -- the bridge slows way down to a ballad-like melody in the middle while the rest of the song rocks out.

Yeah Batdance is a weird song. Love Prince, but it’s not one of my favorites.
How about Ray Of Light by Madonna? Come Sail Away by Styx?

Even though it's a medley, I'd say the song has more than two parts - the "We're so sorry, Uncle Albert" part, the "Hands across the water" part, the "Admiral Halsey" part, and the "Live a little, be a gypsy, get around" part.

"Sail On" by The Commodores was another one I just thought of.

"Batdance" had for remixes "The Bat Mix" and "Vicki Vale Mix".

One that would partially fit would be "Love Hangover". The only thing is, the upbeat part doesn't sound much different than the slow portion that begins the song.
Then, of course, there are the many Donna Summer songs that start out as a ballad and then partway into the song it goes into a disco beat.

Can "Proud Mary" by Ike & Tina Turner be any more obvious?
"We're gonna take the beginning of this song and do it easy. But we're gonna do the finish, rough." LOL

And more recently, there's "Imma Be" by The Black Eyed Peas.

Speaking of "No More Tears", one of the best examples that I can think of is that Donna Summer/Barbra Streisand duet (same title, different song) also known as "Enough Is Enough".
