This looks like a ton of fun with signature 80s bands performing to benefit covid charity. Joining Wang Chung and A Flock of Seagulls are Naked Eyes, The Escape Club, Nelson, The Vapors, Real Life, Animotion, Cutting Crew, Nu Shooz, Information Society, Sthingys, and FarringtonMann. The "Back to the Basement" concert premieres Saturday at 2 p.m. Eastern. The replay will air Sunday at 7 p.m. Eastern. For full details about the show are available at the Abducted by the 80s website. www.abductedbythe80s.com/

Who's "Sthingys" supposed to be? It's the plural form of a common eating utensil, automatically censored by ProBoards. Think of the Lovin' Sthingyful or Reese Withersthingy. (That was me censoring myself.)

Ha ha I didn't realize that "s -p oons' would be censored! Anyway, I really enjoyed that concert on Saturday. i had not heard of the s-p oons before and really liked their house setup and music, definitely had that classic 80s feel. Their performance Looked like an MTV music video too! FarringtonMann did not look familar to me either until they performed "The Promise", then I knew they were once part of When In Rome. Apparently that band has had some major legal battles over control of that band name. Check out Wikipedia if you're interested.
