Here's the playlist for part 7, 400-301 we.tl/t-rSaM5zxhB2A big thanks to Sam for providing me with the song list along with the peaks! Saves me a lot of time listening through my recordings and filling in the rest and hopefully this means I can finish the rest of the top 1000 so I could move on to the 2500-1001 parts. The countdown of the top 50 artists also continues, and I find it funny that Jeffrey Osborne is in that one yet I don't think he has any songs in the top 1000! I also made a new column for weeks spent at #1 altogether since I'm up to that point. Jeffrey Osborne is King of the mid-chart. 11 songs peaked between 12 and 50 and were all placed between 2500-1001. He may have Love Power but not so much Chart Power 😉 in getting into the Top 1000.

He did nearly make top 500 with L.T.D. and "Every Time I Turn Around (Back In Love Again)" on the 1973-1982 countdown however.

Here is the playlist for part 8, 300-201: we.tl/t-e6WdnZ53IrI usually try to keep the titles in one line, but a couple of them ended up looking too small when I tried to make them fit, so they were just left alone. Good because if I kept it like that, then that last page would have just had Billy Idol's name on there and it would have looked kinda wasteful.

I find it funny that Jeffrey Osborne is in that one yet I don't think he has any songs in the top 1000! Funny story from my early days as a chart fanatic. I was a big fan of Jeffrey's "On The Wings Of Love" and somehow believed it had been a top 5 hit. (It charted a few months before I started following the charts.) Then in 1986, I was looking at an issue of Billboard, where his "You Should Be Mine" was described as his highest charting song to date. It was #21 this week. I was incredulous! I thought it was a typo!

Here is the playlist for part 10, #100-1: we.tl/t-QHuZIR6TQEThe top 1000 is all finished. Now on to the rest! The #1 song should be no surprise, by the way.

Now it's on to the rest of the countdown. Here is the playlist for part 11, 2500-2451: we.tl/t-hHk1wgZwYFAt this point, each segment featured 50 songs instead of 100, and it starts with most of the songs that peaked at 51 on either Billboard or Cashbox, and the Radio & Records column is out until it gets to the top 40 peaking songs. Tons of the more obscure stuff for the next few ones.
