And not to forget: There is no sign of losing international affiliates, since Premiere still does the international selling of the show. For those stations there is no change at all.
Since AT40 @ the early 90's, there is no other programme with that much international outlets. The show ocupied most of the old international spots, wich were covered by the Shadoe Stevens AT40 in 1994. As we remember the show was produced only for about 100 international outlets in the second half of 94 ..... to give just an idea how much we can expect .....

you mean you can't get it via mp3 download? I figured all the main shows did that now.

you mean you can't get it via mp3 download? I figured all the main shows did that now. so this is why Casey's voice sounded so weird on KQIC 102 a couple weekends ago on AT20 when I was out-of-town, it was a MP3 format not CD. I prefer CD quality if this is the results. It sure sounded like a MP3 download. However, I never thought a small market station was going this route so soon. Dees/X Radio/Dial-Global, began schedules and addidavits only available on the web on February 28, 2005 with a special affilate site. This is for weekly logs and traffic instructions. Thus, no more papers and no more mailing costs or hassle! This new system should save stations time and trouble according the show's supplier. Radioman, Your link is the add banner on the R&R's site that's been floating around the past couple of weeks. No real new information, but it's better than someone blindly saying 99 percent of all CC stations dropping the show. This would mean Dees was on over a thousand markets based on his ad of 300 markets. We all have opinions or "a gut feeling" but not always facts to back it up. Unless you are talking to a good source, it's all speculation. I have no problem with the quality of this show. I like the "Mash-up" of the week feature, the birthday game & the chart without all those old & boring songs. Dees is very personal to his callers, talking to them on the same level. He never comes across as this high & mighty radio star. He's like a Joe Six-Pack.

I personally have never noticed a difference. I assume most stations utilize mp3 downloads from the distribution company. But maybe they dont.
I know Kiss-FM in "that old redneck city I used to live in and am originally from" downloaded Dees's show because when I asked why every other week it was a repeat of the previous one, the pd emailed me back and said the machine that downloads the show had something messed up but was then fixed after I complained.
So I just thought the majority of stations did that now. Maybe they don't.

In all fairness to Brett, I think he was exagerating his point to saying most US CC-owned stations that were airing the show dropped it when Dees left CC. I believe while the exageration could be misleading he was simply making a point whether we agree with it or not. The truth is, the majority of US CC owned stations in the US I believe HAVE dropped the show. However, I see no real danger in the show being axed. In response to the ad, again I think Radioman was simply making the point that with the ad running did it look like Dees's show was going anywhere. The answer is obviously no. So, were you also saying above that they dont send along cue sheets anymore?

Cue sheets are available on the web as well as a copy with each shipment. The Certificate of Performance is only available on the website.
