One of the most embarrassing Top 40 titles of all time: “License To Chill” by Billy Ocean. What's so embarrassing about that?

As a music director back then, when I carted up that song I didn’t include the beginning part where he kept saying - hey you get into my car - feels dumb now and probably no one else did that, but we were an AC station and that part just sounded bad to me. He sounded predatory.

Do you think "Battle Hymm of Lt. Calley" is embarrising even on the 5/15/1971 AT40 show?

Calley is nearing his 79th birthday and is living in Gainesville FL. He has remained out of the public eye and lived quietly since his release from military prison in 1974. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Calley

"Coconut" by Harry Nilsson. Just awful all the way through. Disagree. Love the song, and the entire "Schmilsson" LP.

"Coconut" is one of those songs you either love or hate. I'm on the latter spectrum - it's not quite so embarrassing as it is plain annoying. My uncle hates the song with a passion as well.

Just hearing the title "On The Wings of Love" by Jeffrey Osborne. Total cheese. Almost as bad as "Butterfly Kisses."

The end of "Get Him Back" by Olivia Rodrigo when she sounds drunk and says, "I got him good. I got him really good."

"Christine Sixteen." Whatever age KISS was when they sang it, it only gets worse the older they've grown.

"Christine Sixteen." Whatever age KISS was when they sang it, it only gets worse the older they've grown. One of the reasons that Ringo Starr no longer performs his #1 hit from 1974--You're Sixteen.

"Christine Sixteen." Whatever age KISS was when they sang it, it only gets worse the older they've grown. Paul Stanley was 25 and Gene Simmons 27/28 when it charted in mid-1977. Even then it probably seemed creepy to many including radio stations, likely a reason it only peaked at #25. Obviously it sounds much worse at age 71 and 74 (even with ages and appearances disguised by makeup). Frankly they have enough hits and fan favorites that they could have afforded to drop it from their set list long ago. Though of course now that they’ve (supposedly) retired from physical touring, they’re moving into “avatar KISS” where they can forever “perform” as if in their 20s.
