A few more artists who had a pair of #11 hits...
Four Tops had "Still Water Love" in 1970 and "When She Was my Girl" in 1981 Joe Simon had "Drowning in a Sea of Love" and "The Power of Love", both in 1972 Pointer Sisters had "Yes We Can Can" in 1973 and "Dare Me" in 1985
Prefer When(by a narrow margin), Drowning and Dare of those hits.

Carpenters- I Won’t Last A Day Without You. The melody, arrangement, and performance are almost too painfully beautiful. It’s near perfect. I guess it didn’t make the Top Ten because the album had been out for 23 months.

"Drowning In The Sea Of Love" is one of my favorites. Always thought it should have been his second Top 10 (The Chokin' Kind should have made it too). Did peak at #8 on Cashbox. Covered by Ringo Starr and a live version by Boz Scaggs. Never cared for Ringo's version, but it is a rare 45. Boz performed it live at the Beacon with the New York Rock & Soul Revue. B.B. King also recorded a version in the late 80s. Another great creation written by Leon Gamble and Kenny Huff.

No mention of another #11 song from end of 1989/start of 1990 "Swing the Mood" by Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers? That would be my favorite. “In The Mood” was also part of the medley in “Hooked On Swing.” Have there been any other songs or instrumentals that were included in more than one Top 40 medley?

"I Should Have Known Better" is on both the medley that started it all, 1981's "Medley: Intro Venus/Sugar Sugar/No Reply/etc" by Stars On 45, as well as having a bit of the original on "The Beatles' Movie Medley" the following year.
