No mention of another #11 song from end of 1989/start of 1990 "Swing the Mood" by Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers?

No mention of another #11 song from end of 1989/start of 1990 "Swing the Mood" by Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers? Personally, one of my least favorite songs of the era. Ersatz nostalgia.

Between 1980 and January 1995, the best songs to peak at #11 overall on my list include:
"I Wanna Be Your Lover" by Prince "Head over Heels" by The Go-Gos "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" by Dead or Alive "A Love Bizarre" by Sheila E. "Perfect Way" by Scritti Politti "Meet Me Halfway" by Kenny Loggins "Another Part of Me" by Michael Jackson "Electric Youth: by Debbie Gibson (I still can't get over how she missed the top 10 on AT40 after jumping from #16 to #11, but I think her popularity was done for by that point) "Keep On Movin'" by Soul II Soul "Swing the Mood" by Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers (yes, dth, I do like that song) "How Can I Ease the Pain" by Lisa Fisher "Here We Go Again" by Portrait "The Crying Game" by Boy George
While I do enjoy "Do You Love Me" by The Contours, I did not include it in my list because that was a second chart run for that song (it first charted in 1961, I believe). I am only using original releases in my list.
No love for "Could This Be Love" by Seduction? Definitely applies for me.

Also, regarding Corona's "Rhythm of the Night", that song did make the top ten on the final episode of the original run on 1/28/1995. It was #9 that week.

No love for "Could This Be Love" by Seduction? Definitely applies for me. I concur. Although I keep forgetting that this song did not make the Top Ten, as it did peak at #6 on the R&R charts.

I think the reason for Seduction's song to peak at #11, is due to the song being released just as a cassette single. I bet the song would have made the top ten on the Hot 100 if it would have also been released as a CD single as well. For a song to only be released as a cassette single, hitting #11 should be quite impressive.
The song did hit #6 on R&R, and that was because it was more successful in radio airplay than sales of commercial singles.
