Just a reminder, AMC 1977 begins at 8 AM CDT today. Will be the last one for a while. I'll try to have the extras posted on Monday - will be gone all weekend, as usual.

They started it over sometime during the course of the evening. They had been up to the first weekend in August at around 7:00 CDT. When I got home from work just now, they were playing "Maybe I'm Amazed". I'm guessing that they took it through August and maybe September before jumping back to the beginning. Unless it was a technical problem.

It is followed by the next part Saturday morning at the same time.

Something that confuses me somewhat: He said that "You Light Up My Life" was the biggest hit of the past 20 years. Was this show recorded in the late 1990s?

Hervard, does't Sam mean Fall 1957 to Fall 1977?
Any chance of getting the extras list of AMC 1977?

Much thanks to Slammin' Sam for another phenomenal presentation. Here's the list:

77 songs total. (How fitting.)
By the way, for those who detest the songs being edited on AT40 (whether it's Watermark or Premiere), the AMC presentations have no song edits - I don't recall hearing a single song edited. You may hear single versions of songs, but they're not edited beyond that, as they were prominently during this timeframe on AT40.

^Thanks again for the list. Wow were there a lot of extras for 1982 (105 songs!) - probably why that program totaled 26+ hours instead of the usual 24. And I can still come up with a handful more that weren't included...

Hervard, does't Sam mean Fall 1957 to Fall 1977? Any chance of getting the extras list of AMC 1977? Guessing that's what Sam meant...especially when you consider that "YLUML" was the biggest hit since "Hound Dog", which had its long run at #1 in 1956.

Just listening to my recording from this past weekend of AMC 1977 - interesting to note, regarding the extras: The announced final segment begins with "Breakdown" (Alan Parsons Project) and ends with "Never Going Back Again" (Fleetwood Mac). However, the songs listed below are still played, just without any intros or outcues from Slammin' Sam.
