WLS 94.7 FM Chicago is now doing rather than AT40: The 70's as of April 8, 2018 on Sunday mornings from 7 AM to 11 AM CDT AT40: The 80's.

WLS 94.7 FM Chicago is now doing rather than AT40: The 70's as of April 8, 2018 on Sunday mornings from 7 AM to 11 AM CDT AT40: The 80's. Wow, your April Fool's joke came true a mere week later. That would have been wild if they'd started running the 80s show last week, causing listeners to wonder if it was an April Fool prank! I assume they played the 1980 show, correct? |

I don't think they play the extras at all anymore. I'll listen to them next week to see if I'm right.

Yes, the 4/5/1980 show was aired for AT40: The 80's this week. Optional extras were played and sometimes to fill each hour before the next hour starts a random 1980's or circa 1980's song is played. |

Yeah, I see they played "Open Arms", "Heartache Tonight", and "Centerfold". "Addicted To Love" by Robert Palmer kicked off the regular programming after the show and "Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel filled out the 6:00 hour, when the preceding show, "Connected To Chicago with Bill Cameron" ended five minutes early.

Not sure if it is a fluke or not, but It is 12:30 AM Monday morning and WPNC - Magic 95.9 is playing a Rick Dees show instead of Casey.

Time changes (all Sunday):
LM Radio - 7 am to 8 am start (During DST)
KDGL - 9 am to 10 am start. Show is entirely in blackout now. Airs 4 hours of commercials.
KLTF - 2 pm to 3 pm start. Sister station, KFML, still airs show from 6 - 10 pm.
KPHT airs show from 11 pm to 2 am. Does not air final hour online.
