As I said on the '80s station list thread, Harry Chapin would be proud. Even more appropriate here! IIRC one of the weeks that WOLD was on the countdown Casey did a story about this station. He described them as "a small mom-and-pop station" but said that, as you might expect, their phones were ringing off the hook as a result of Harry's song.

Pulling my post of the same story; thanks, kid. Not sure if/how this impacts another affiliate a half-hour or so away in Georgia that bills itself as serving Chattanoogs. dL

New affiliate? Nighttime programming on the weekends will include oldies shows created by Dick Clark and Casey Kasem. It started in the daytime: New station: Saturday 2 pm - 5 pm (FIRST Broadcast) (REPEATS Saturday at 9 pm) WFLI - The Big Jet-FLI - Chattanooga TN 1070 AM Listen: tunein.com/radio/WFLI-1070AM-The-Legend-s28777/Website: None Plays Optional Extras. I believe there is another airing of show on WFLI still to come on Sunday.

WCSY-FM (South haven, MI) not running the show in the normal slot. What's up with that?

Added the repeat broadcasts for WFLI. rgmike - I noticed that WCSY did not air the show last week as well. I may have to keep an eye on them in the weeks to come.

SOME DIRECT LINKS (Meant to be opened in player such as VLC player ) or open VLC, then go to File ---> Open Network Stream ---> Paste in the copied "Direct Stream" link and play it.
*Does the station play AT40 Extras? ** Click the slogan to go to station website linked from it. You could also create a new folder, calling it something like "Casey Kasem AT40" Then, save each of the streams in it. So, you'd have a folder with three files in the example stations above. It would have: KKPR.m3u ktrrfmaac.pls WPLMFM.pls You could simply click and run in VLC, but also rename the files to somthing like: Sun 08-11 KKPR.m3u Sun 08-11 KTRR.pls Sun 08-11 WPLM.pls Sun 13-16 KKPR.m3u (assuming a second download of this original file & using 24 hour format) If you do this correctly, associate the VLC player as the default player to play all its formats, you could have a sortable (by day-time) of all the VLC playable stations you should choose to add to it & change times to your own.)

Possibly new station: Just caught the last 3 songs of this weekend's AT 40 The 70s on WJJR 98.1 Rutland, VT. Show ended at 9am Saturday, so it would have started at 6am EDT. WJJR carries AT 40 The 80s on Sundays at noon. I will verify this next Saturday. This would be great news for me as it is the only station I can receive over the air that carries AT40. However, their streams are geo-blocked outside Vermont and upstate NY. Stay tuned!
