hi, I also want to point out that even though rick.com 80s has still not updated and still showing Apr 25, 1987, the radio stations I checked yesterday: WCXT, WKVI were airing May 2, 1987. KZOY FM last Saturday aired Apr 25, 1987 again though. I went with what was available at the website. I also sent an email to KZOY and their program director told me he had sent Rick an email but no word yet on what went wrong. |

mitchm last week Jul 11, 2020 was really Jul 8, 1989, not Jul 15, 1989. #1 song was new, Good Thing. Can you please fix? Thanks SS for Jul 8, 1989: Robert Palmer - Tell Me I'm Not Dreaming. That song wouldn't be charting...

10/5/85 - "Separate Lives" (He said it was "last week's Sure Shot" when it debuted the following week.)
10/24/87 - "Faith".
7/16/88 - Huey Lewis & The News "Perfect World" (Like "Separate Lives", it debuted the following week.)
8/20/88 - "Don't You Know What the Night Can Do?"
10/28/89 had no Sure Shot (a rarity for him for a regular show) - instead, he played "Thriller" as "the #1 Halloween classic of the decade".
8/25/90 - Lisa Stansfield "This is the Right Time". (Debuted the following week.)
9/15/90 - "Love Takes Time"
7/6/91 - "The Motown Song". (On 7/20, Rick said it was the Sure Shot two weeks ago.)

Too bad the 1983-1984 Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 shows which used the Cash Box chart are forgotten and many of them may be LOST MEDIA to Rick Dees fans, including the first show from Fall 1983!
Also: If I remember some Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 broadcast sure shots from past broadcasts even if none have been aired on the app or the Rick Dees rebroadcasts, can I post some and they can be added to the main list?
