Here's a classic aircheck from July 11, 1981 (without scoped ads) and when the show was 3 hours in length (although the description should be ACC rather than AT40).
Edit: Looks like they've changed the description now to July 11, 1981, either way no scoped ads.

This weekend they are rewinding back to November 8, 1997, this time a new show compared to the last time 1997 was aired. It does look more and more likely 1991 may be the year-end candidate, but on the other hand they may choose another year like this one as a possibility.

Excluding 1990, coming into this morning, 1997 was the one year in the decade with the fewest episodes played. Now it's tied with 1994 at 17; both years, however, each have one repeated show. 1993 still leads with 22, 1995 is second with 21, and 1992 is third with 20. 1993 and 1995 haven't had any repeats yet, while 1992 has one.
Looking ahead to next weekend, 1991 has three shows that have already aired: 11/16, 11/23, and 12/7. So if that year is picked for one of the next four weekends, hopefully it's 11/30. Also to note regarding repeats, 1991 has already been repeated once this year, with the 3/30 show.

Good to hear that WW1 left in the 'my kind of country, my kind of music' jingle, between the #12 & #11 songs on the rewind show.

While we say 1990 again so soon, at least now we finally get a November 1990 show on the rewind show. This week it is from November 17, 1990 (where the aircheck is available on YouTube). That means 1990 is catching up now with episodes played and with every month now played that year (excluding January-May that needs to be digitally remastered).

Here comes an aircheck from November 22, 1997 (I could see this be a rerun candidate for the rewind show next year and/or in a future year).

Now on to this week's rewind show and it is from November 21, 1998. Although we don't hear the first hour of the show, in the Top 40 I counted five artists that had two singles on the chart, and one (with a duet that counts) had three. Very unheard of and especially today's standard but the recurrent rule back then was 20 weeks/below #30.
Hopefully that means next week we will hear November 30, 1991 and given we haven't had this year since early July, it is due. It could also very well be a year-end candidate given how light they have been on that year compared to some other years this year.

'Where the green grows' was edited. Unsure if it was originally, or WW1's work.

Is there such a thing as a Hanukkah card? The ad for Vista Print said 'this holiday', instead of this Christmas'.

Probably an original edit most likely but now as stations have started to put Christmas music part time, I guess maybe the ad promo last week makes sense (as the holiday coming I guess can stretch into a good amount of December this year). Well, there goes the chances of 11/30/91 being featured this year, and I'm now having more confidence that 1991 will be the year ender but you never know. Meanwhile we do go back to November 25, 2000 which I don't know why they didn't go with December 2, 2000 unless if they chose to stick with the same month rule. And I'm checking it via WOGT as WLAW right now is playing regular music, making me wonder if they dropped the show or moved it to a different time slot. And as a rarity, here's the cue sheet which I hope we'll more out of that year and other years available: www.charismusicgroup.com/ACC%20Cue%20Sheets/11-25-00.pdf

That they were, and notice how slow the turnover was for the chart week, let alone that they would cut the amount of songs on the chart from 75 to 60 in the next several weeks leading to 2001, with January 13 being the first one.

It is possible that they could run a December 1991 show (12/7 would be a repeat, while 12/14 and 12/21 assuming if that week isn't guest hosted would be new) sometime this month, but we'll wait and see.

Well, both WLAW and WOGT first thing in the morning are running the rewind show again and they are going back to December 4, 1999 which is a new show and the second December 1999 show aired in the rewind series. That leaves 12/11 left for December 1999 as 12/18 is out of play due to a guest host (even though I wished the cue sheets would confirm it). Notice the slow turnover in terms of falling songs due to the recurrent rule back then, now today it's a slow climb up the charts for so long.
There is still a chance that one more regular 1991 show could be aired within the next two weeks, if that doesn't happen, then it is most likely (but not a lock) the year-end show.
