Not only haven't they added new shows in months, this is the second time in 2 days that they've switched from one show to another in the middle of a chart. 6/26/76 --> Top 40 of '75 and 6/29/74 --> 8/26/78. Does this happen every go-round and I just didn't notice before?

But from my observations a few months ago, this problem usually started when Premiere made changes to the channel. Let's see in a few days if Premiere has just added some shows to the channel.

And I know that didn't happen when I listened to the 6/5/71 show last week.

"at40enginner" has not posted since July so I don't know if he checks in here or not. Personally, I would love to see the year-end countdowns featured twice a year... Independence Day weekend as they were featured this past summer, and over New Year's weekend (maybe December 30 - January 3 for this year). The rest of the time, only regular countdowns would be featured.
If the engineer were to resume adding the featured 70s/80s shows each week and kept them in rotation for 13 weeks, that's 26 different shows which would be aired in a given week. Figuring 8 shows a day get played, that would mean each show would repeat every 3 1/4 days. A show that would be heard Monday at 6 a.m. would then be heard Thursday at noon, then Sunday at 6 p.m., then Wednesday at midnight, etc. I don't think we could get burned out on shows knowing that they would only be featured for a 13-week or 3 month period, and at different times of the day.
My other goofy idea is that they only feature the past week's 70s and 80s show in case we missed it during its radio airing. The shows would repeat every 6 hours but we would get a new show every week.
Just my two cents here.

Does iheart have a problem with runnin' the 4-hour '70s shows? It'd be nice to hear 'em on iheart, in their entirety.

When the station debuted that is exactly what it did, replayed the A shows of the week on loop. For a week or two, Larry Morgan even mentioned the iHeart replays on the shows. They quickly abandoned that for the current format.

They had to change the schedule a bit and messed up the automation.

They're playing 5/25/85 now, which doesn't usually air until around 1 a.m. according to the schedule.

Now they played the first segment of 6/16/84 and then went to the second segment of the 6/11/88 show.

Does anybody know if they are playing the 10/25/1975 show on iHeart yet? I'm just listening to this show now from a few weeks ago--I'm a little behind! I've got skips during part of hour 3, so wondering what I missed Casey saying. Thanks.
