Interesting. Looks as if they're not waiting until the cycle ends to add new shows. At least they actually are.

Laura, It's possible they used the 07/04/87 to replace one of the duplicate 09/03/83 shows. That was what was supposed to play when it came on.

It could be, now that you've mentioned it. They did play 8/31/85 earlier today though, so if that's the case, then the second airing of that one may be replaced with a new one too.
Seems as if you're right. They're playing the top 50 of 1984 now.

Glad to see some "new" shows see the light of day, and hopefully those two shows with duplicates are fixed (it appears at least 9/3/1983 is).

They skipped forward about 17 shows on the 80's playlist this morning. Currently playing the 5/25/85 show. That would move the end of the 80's cycle up to the end of the day tomorrow. Hopefully some new 80's shows will be added Wednesday.

Currently playing Chart Date 07/18/70 which would have aired 07/11/70. This show would have originally been played a week after the debut show. With the third hour as restored by Ken Martin?

Yes, they played the show with the third hour restored by Ken Martin. They paused just before the last hour was played, gave a brief explanation about the last hour being lost and gave credit to Ken Martin for his work in recreating the final hour. It's so well done, most people would never suspect it wasn't the actual show played years ago.

I'll try to catch that show sometime, as I missed it last month (darn work schedule, LOL). Hopefully all the shows being added will stick around for a little while.
