Yesterday it went from #11 1987 to #11 1982.
This morning it went from 1982 to #16 of the top 50 of 1979 and 2 songs later it was 4-23-83.
At 2:23 eastern they started 4-23-83 from the top. At 3:09 it went to the top 50 of 1980. I just tuned in at 4:50pm, and it went from #11 of the 1983 show to #9 of the top newcomers of the 80s from 7-4-1987.
It's a disaster.

So today started with 4/81, somewhere in the 1st hour changed to 5/82, and after Ebony and Ivory debuted at #29, I heart went to #34 of the top 50 of 1984. Now after Freeze-Frame 3 minutes of dead air. Ouch. Yet the 70s shows run unscathed.

^ Just now they went from 3/81 to 4/82. This morning they went from 9/83 (right in the middle of Tell Her About It) to 6/86 (the middle of the OE If She Knew What She Wants). Here we go again.
Since then they went from 4/82 to the top 100 of 1983 to what looks like the top 100 of 1981, as they're playing Say Goodbye to Hollywood, which was the last OE for that particular show. This has become a mess.

I was reading through this topic and thought, "I wonder how long it will take for them to make a mistake if I tune in?"
I got in at the beginning of LW#1, "Don't You Want Me" by The Human league. Then, #40 (for a second week) was J. Geils Band's "Angel In Blue." Ooooh, cool, July 10, 1982. Then, they went to an optional extra of Ratt's "Round & Round" ... but WHY? Now it's Peabo Bryson debuting at #37, so we've switched over to June 30, 1984.
It's shower time for me. Betcha it is a different program by the time the water is turned off.
I do think I need to hunt around for a way to complain to them. Then I'll worry about the kids on my lawn. XD

Tina is at 31. Still June 30, 1984. I lost my bet.

I caught the top 25 of the Top 100 of 1978. Then they switched to May 1, 1988. They got as far as #36, then played The Go-Go's "Vacation" as an extra, without saying anything else other than it was an extra (no date, or that it would debut soon.) Then they went into July 10, 1982 with #38. Now I wonder if going to the extras trips something? I have no idea.

I'm beginning to wonder if any 80s shows were either added or deleted. Isn't that what usually trips up the channel like that?

After finishing the 06/30/1984 show, the iheart channel started into "#1 songs of the 70's" with a couple songs "Rain drops keep falling on my head" then a Jackson 5 song. Then it just started the second half of the top songs of 1977.

They also played 8/12/72 and 8/11/79 (Top 32, 3 Hour version) between the 8/5/78 show and the 7/10/76 show. Looks like they returned back to the top of the list after the 7/10/76 show.

Glad a few more 1970's AT40 episodes got added to the Classic AT40 iHeartRadio channel just recently, but will some more 1980's AT40 episodes ever get added to the channel soon?

Currently playing Chart Date 07/18/70 which would have aired 07/11/70. This show would have originally been played a week after the debut show.
