And now, they're into the 1974 one, with "Beach Baby" by First Class at #94.
BTW, what happened to the comments on the player page? It seems to have disappeared.

I was listening to the top 40 songs of 1976. The editing was really bad on it. They cut out my favorite part of "Moonlight Feels Right" (the marimba playing of Bo Wagner). If Premiere was trying to fit 3 extra songs in the countdown, why didn't they remove the montage instead? This morning's year end 76 countdown had the marimba playing intact. Currently they are in the 90s on the 1977 year end show.

They just skipped over the last 20 songs of the Top 50 of 1979 and they just started the Top 100 of 1980.

It is 12:00 Noon (Eastern Time) and the top 10 of 1981 is on the iheart radio channel. The only question is will they play the Top 50 of the 1970's before returning to the usual 40-50 shows they run constantly?

At the current rate, they should finish up 1987 sometime during the wee hours on Saturday night

I notice that they played the long version of "Turn The Beat Around" on the original countdown.

Back to the same ol stuff on the iheart radio channel. 5/26/73 just finished and 4/10/82 is playing. Maybe the full year end countdowns will return 4th of July weekend.

I think they should play all the specials chronologically (except the Christmas and year end countdown).

I wish the iHeartRadio classic AT40 channel did a purge and replaced many overplayed 70's/80's AT40 shows on the channel with new ones but keep the year end countdowns and the first ever 1970 Casey AT40 and last original 1988 Casey AT40.

The decade ending countdowns are back on iheart radio channel. 1972 year end countdown began around 7 am (Eastern time). Thank goodness for Holiday week ends that help break up the same 30-40 countdowns they usually run.

Hey the year enders are back on the iheart radio channel. It began yesterday--and right now we are on the second half of 1976. (sort of appropriate since the July 4, 1976 special is going to air this week end)

CT40 only kinda did (The Top 40 #1 songs of the 1980s, instead of a chart based on raw data)

It seems as if they're mixing up some segments of the shows, like they would play part of one show that would air either earlier or later that day and then later play another segment from another show.
