Two songs from Deadmau5, which appeared on his Random Album Title album from early September 2008. The first one, "Not Exactly", was released as a single about a year before the album appearance, in late August 2007. The second one, "Sometimes Things Get, Whatever", was apparently new to the album and not released as a single previously.

I remember this song being played on Howard Stern's show years ago when Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker made an appearance, and I was reminded of it recently when looking at Kracker's page on the Radio and Records chart website. "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" peaked at #48 on R&R in late August 2001, but it didn't chart on either the Hot 100 or Bubbling Under chart.

It reached #4 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart in August 2012, and on the September 22 Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart it was a week away from peaking at #9. Although the singing is by a male artist named Salem Al Fakir, it always reminds me of Carol Channing for some reason. Here's "Silhouettes" by Avicii.

Five years ago this week (on October 2, 2017) was the death of Tom Petty. 80sat40fan at the time posted this song in tribute to Petty, and five years later I'm posting it again. Debuting on the September 28, 2002 Mainstream Rock chart but only reaching #22 during a 13-week run, here are Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with "The Last DJ".
