dth1971, some 2020 songs were posted last year, but I rarely listen to new music anymore since working from home, so I'm out of touch even when it comes to songs that made the Top 40. There may be some more 2020 songs posted in the future. Maybe even today, who knows. And maybe a few 2021 songs for lost 2000's classics. I wonder if Leona Lewis' Christmas song "One More Sleep" would qualify for a lost 2000's classic next Christmas 2022?

2021 songs are a possibility, now that the year is over. As for Leona Lewis, you can always post her even if I don't.
But for today, I decided on a song from this week's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart in Billboard in 2019. Originally released in 2012 by Ivan Gough and Feenixpawl, this version of "In My Mind" was a remix by Dynoro and Gigi D'Agostino and was at #30 on the chart, having peaked at #4 the previous October.

Though it wouldn't officially debut on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart for two weeks, "Emerge" by Fischersp o o ner was listed at #53 on the online version of this week's chart from 2003, so it must include unpublished chart data. Anyway, it would eventually peak at #18, and I'm including the song separately from the video since the video version is heavily edited.

It would reach #16 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart and #18 on the Modern Rock chart, but this week in 2001 Disturbed's "Voices" was only at #22 on the former chart and #26 on the latter.

At its peak position of #112 on Billboard's Bubbling Under chart this week in 2002 was Ryan Adams' "New York, New York", a song which also peaked at #42 that same week on Radio and Records' pop chart.

Released as a single in September 2019 and on the album of the same name in January 2020, Echosmith's "Lonely Generation" addresses the isolation that comes from being connected to technology and social media in today's world.

This could have gotten more airplay when the COVID pandemic started in March 2020.
