For the first song posted in 2021, I'm going back four years to 2017 and this week's Adult Alternative chart in Billboard. It's a song that was at #29 and going down that week, but would go back up the chart and peak at #4 in April. Here's "Lost on You" by LP.

From 2001, it's a song that was at its peak position of #109 on Billboard's Bubbling Under chart, and was also spending its fourth week at its peak position of #9 on the Modern Rock chart. Here's "Renegades of Funk" by Rage Against the Machine.

On the fifth anniversary of David Bowie's death in 2016, I'm including the title track from his last studio album, which was released two days before his death on his 69th birthday. It would peak at #78 on the Hot 100 later in January, following his passing. Here's "Blackstar" by David Bowie.

From today's chart date in 2007, it's a song that was originally released on the 2003 album "Poodle Hat", but apparently made Billboard's Bubbling Under chart due to digital downloads. It spent its only week on the chart at #115. Parodying "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys, here's "eBay" by "Weird Al" Yankovic.

Today's song comes from a Canadian dance music production duo and American house DJ. This week in 2014, they were at #25 on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart after peaking at #13 the previous December. They would fare better on the Dance Club Songs chart, eventually peaking at #4 in February. Here's "Tsunami" by DVBBS and Borgeous.

Today's song comes from an artist who last appeared in this thread in 2015. In 2003, she was debuting at #20 this week on Billboard's Adult Alternative chart, and would peak at #12 in early March. From her debut album, here's the title track - "Come Away with Me" by Norah Jones.

Because of Covid, I haven't listened to a lot of new music in the past year (mostly listened at work, but I've been working from home since March), so there will be very few 2020 songs posted in this thread past the new few months. For now, though, I'll try to post some early-2020 non-hits. From this week last year, it's a song that was at its peak position of #2 on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. Today song's was a 2019 country hit, currently at #102 on Billboard's Bubbling Under chart this week and eventually peaking at #70 on the Hot 100 in April.
