If 7-7-62 is played, the #1 record was in fact "The Stripper" which spent its only week at that position.

We could see that the songs were getting longer in 1970--no extras as normally occurs. Show ended at 4:22, and next week is 1962, which is surprising as I thought there would be a 60's Summer Special, maybe songs with Summer in the title or lyrics. The Summer of Love Special should be great. The biggest song of that Summer (1967) was Windy. Looking forward to 1962- right in 'Hairspray' area (original movie, not the remake in 2007) - love those years.

Weren't there a couple of extras played in the Top 40 songs of Spring 1970? I thought there were 2 or 3 extras but I might be wrong.

Weren't there a couple of extras played in the Top 40 songs of Spring 1970? I thought there were 2 or 3 extras but I might be wrong. I am looking at the song listing that jblues provided, and he always includes the extras and notes the word "Extra" before the song is typed thereafter. I did not see any extras (4 posts above).
