I must amend my earlier post--it was female artists, solo and group, so apologies for that! Longer show today as it ended at 4:50 pm EST. No surprise at all at #1--won't give it away but who was the biggest female star(s) of the 60's and you have the answer. Next week: 1962, which is obviously an avoidance of 1969 and 1967, which had songs by the Turtles in the countdown. You Showed Me How was ready to drop off the Top 40, so that should be soon. 1962's show should be 3-24-62.

No surprise at #1--show ended at 4:25 EST, which was pretty good for 50 songs plus Dave's commentary. Next week is a bit of a shocker--1963. I would have bet money and lost that it would be 1969 since "You Showed Me" was out of the Top 40. 1963 will receive its 2nd play next week, and 1964 has been played twice in 2022. 1969 has not been played this year. 1963 should be 4-6-63.

Frankly, the people that run "60's Gold" should lift their ban on The Turtles-Mark Volman & Howard Kaylan lost their lawsuit against Sirius/XM in 2021-It's a no brainer.
