Still no website... Hope he can get it up and running soon... I'm a creature of habit. I have other ways to view the Top 40 of course, but prefer Walt's format. as far as Walt is not able to fix it, you can reach his side via the wayback machine as already mentioned above web.archive.org/web/20180902224839/http://www.oldradioshows.com/Got it. Thanks. I think I tried that a week or so ago and it didn't work, but maybe I'm mistaken. Either way, thanks, this link works fine.

I wonder what will get fixed first-The Old Radio Shows website or Cox Internet service? The debate rages on

On a hunch I thought this site might have come back... well, technically, it has, but not as Walt's enterprise.
What greets visitors is an online downloader ostensibly for music/videos, for what that's worth...
Sad...

I wonder if Walt Bailey's site being down for so long, may imply that Walt's health may be in decline, and maybe he didn't renew his site in light of looming death?
As far as I know, one forum went without activity for an extended period, and also his main website (which had plenty of downloads of game show PC games) was inactive for so long. The forum was flooded with spambots for over a year, and when the site was due for renewal, the host never got a chance to renew the forums (and rightly so, given the surge of spambots). It was later revealed that the host of that site was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and he eventually took down his main website, facing the uncertainty as to when he may die.
There seems to be a correlation between sites being down or inactive for extended periods and health decline for the site's host.

As long as the Wayback Machine stays up, it's all good. It would be a shame if it all went away--just a treasure trove of info on Walt's site. I hope he is OK...

I think he's OK - alive, anyway, as he has posted on his Facebook page recently.

I don't think he's implying it's the same guy, rather that that's an example of what may have happened here.

I do miss his awesome site. Walt is doing well, so I think he will eventually get it up and running again.

It isn't, BigJon is an entirely different person (I'm part of the game show fandom as well).
