What shows (new or repeat) do you hope are scheduled to air in 2015?
For me, the one at the top of the list for the 80s is the regular 7/5/1986 show (my 7th birthday). For the 70s, it's the 5/8/1971 show since that was when my parents were married.

Wanna hear the 5-26-79 show, with Imaginary lover sped up to sound like Stevie Nicks. Matt (wahoo) still would need to send me the new file of that, since it got destroyed in my latest virus purge.

Among eligible shows:
1970s • 1970: Any show that remains. The first choice is Dec. 19, unless that's coming yet this yet. • 1971: Jan. 30; April 3; July 17 (so that one of the OE's can be "Maggie May," what with it's inauspicious start at No. 98); and Dec. 4 (the week both "Maggie May" and "American Pie" were in the top 40). • 1972: Jan. 15 (day I was born), March 11 (one of the first AT40s I heard), Aug. 19 and Dec. 2. • 1973: Nov. 10. • 1974: July 27 (week that my only brother was born) • 1975: May 17 or May 24 (either one of these weeks, my dad purchased a brand new 1975 Chevrolet Caprice Classic coupe – light blue with white vinyl top) and Aug. 2. • 1976: Feb. 14, April 17 and Nov. 6. • 1977: Jan. 8 and Sept. 10. • 1978: March 25 (the week my only sister was born), Oct. 21 and Dec. 9 (the first major winter storm in the Quad Cities). If an AT40 special is played, let it be "AT40 Goes to the Movies," from April 1. • 1979: Jan. 13 (the weekend of the Great Chicago Blizzard) and Dec. 15.
1980s • 1980: Jan. 26 and June 30. • 1981: Jan. 24 and Aug 22. • 1982: Jan. 30, April 24 and Sept. 25. • 1983: April 23, June 18 and Oct. 1 (the week my dad purchased a brand new 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal coupe – loaded with options). • 1984: Jan. 14, March 31 (the first weekend I kept track of the countdowns, albeit "American Country Countdown" and the "Country Music's Top 10 with Charlie Cook") and Sept. 1 (the week I started junior high. • 1985: Feb. 2, March 30 (the first-ever WrestleMania weekend) and Sept. 28 (the weekend the Twilight Zone's "A Little Peace and Quiet" aired, which – in fiction – was the date the United States was destroyed by the Soviet Union). • 1986: April 12 and Sept. 6 (the week I started high school). • 1987: March 28, May 23 and Sept. 13. • 1988: April 2 and Aug. 6 (always good to hear the last original Casey Kasem-era show again).
Some are dates picked at random, others have personal significance … but all are good shows.
If there's any shows that are ineligible, I didn't look at the list but sorry if I added wrong shows. Anyway, that's mine.
Brian

10/1/83, 4/12/86, and 9/12/87 are ineligible due to guest hosts. I don't know what "June 30, 1980" is supposed to be, but 7/5/80 was the "Book of Records" special which isn't likely to be aired, at least not as part of the 80s series (no 80s songs in it). 6/28/80 would be OK.

Among the shows I would like to relive in 2015:
January 24, 1987 (repeat?) February 28, 1987 Any show from March 1986 April 2, 1988 (the one with the Andy Gibb extra as a tribute) Any show from May 1986 June 6, 1987 (repeat) Any fresh show from July 1986 or the last remaining new show from July 1987 (4th of July), or a repeat of July 9, 1988 August 25, 1984 September 6, 1986 or September 26, 1987 Any late November 1985 show December 27, 1986
There seems to be a pattern with most of the months - most of my desired episodes are from 1986 to 1988 (all except for August and November). That's because that was when my taste for music was in its peak period. It went downhill in 1989, though didn't rebound until 2002 (though only for one year). Plus July has the most possibilities for me.

Here is my wish list:
THE SEVENTIES
1970 7-18 (the day a woman I used to like was born; 7-25 (the day our family left for vacation that summer) 1971 2-13 (my first time ever in New York City) 1972 9-16 (weekend of my first ever NFL game 1973 4-28 (my 12th b-day) 1974 6-15 (last week of 6th grade) 1975 6-28 or 7-19 or 8-23 1976 Any November show still unaired 1977 4-2 or 4-30 1978 2-11 or 3-25 1979 4-14 or 10-27 or 11-3 (My 18th b-day, Apr. 28, was a B-show recently, while out local station aired the A show)
THE EIGHTIES
1980 My high-school graduation day was guest-hosted, of course, so my second choices are March 8 (the b-day of one of my fitness trainers) and Sept. 6 (the first countdown I listened to as a college student) 1981 Anything from March or April 1982 December (Yeah, I know that they're all repeats, but that was my favorite month of the decade musically) 1983 1-29 or 3-12 1984 Anything from February or March that has yet to be aired 1985 3-9 or 9-7 (the latter was the day I met the girl of my dreams) 1986 Anything from December 1987 Anything from late February through early May 1988 April 2 or Aug. 6
SHOW DATES I DREADED:
The most difficult date, June 7, 1986 (the day the girl of my dreams got married) is out of the way until about 2018 because that show was featured just this year; Jan. 20, 1973 was another dreaded date--a car accident (and, of course, that came up early last year. I listened anyway because I enjoyed the songs). That date may come up again in 2017 because of the Inauguration Day connection.
