KQQL FM (Kool 108) aired 8/1/1987 this morning (no first hour). I'm thinking they alternate 70s and 80s, as I heard a 1973 show earlier this year. I have a rare Saturday off so I was able to catch some of it.

^KQQL has been alternating shows since March. 80s station KQQL (Kool 108) has been alternating 80s & 70s for the last 6 weeks. Aired 1973 today. WOCL has aired 70s shows the past 2 weeks. Station does occasionally air the 70s, but tends to play the 80s much more frequently.

WOCL has my all time favorite rejoin liners for AT40.

Meanwhile, another station in Pennsylvania--WWSW (3WS) Pittsburgh--may have jumped the ship, or at least switched decades. Today they aired the 80s show--and only the last three hours of it.

I hope it is not permanent. I was wondering why they didn't post the chart. 3WS posted both an eighties chart (8/11/84) AND a seventies chart (8/11/79) on their website for this weekends AT40 shows.
They don't specify if they will be playing both shows; however, this morning they played hours two-four of the 1984 show from 9am-12noon and so far have not played the 1979 show.
Last week, for the first time in station history, they played the 8/5/78 show TWICE and stated that they would be doing so on their website. The first airing was at the standard time from 9am-12noon and the encore/repeat airing was from 7pm-10pm.
If last week's experiment is any indication of their future intentions, it may mean that they will play another AT40 show in the newly created Sunday evening 7pm-10pm timeslot.
Nothing is definitively stated on the website, but it certainly looks promising. Tune in tonight at 7 to see what unfolds.
P. S. I see jmack has already beat me to the punch one post earlier.

It would be good if they took the WODC route and played two shows, from either or both decades, a week. It would be even better if they aired the full shows; according to the website they only played three hours of the 1984 show.

Don't expect them to play the full 4-hour 1979 show tonight either. At least it looks like they will play two shows a week effective today, 8/14/16!

Is KXAC Oldies 100.5 FM from Mankato, Minnesota (Southern Minnesota) on the list? It carries AT40: The 70's on Sunday mornings.

Way back when (as in not quite 2 years ago) I updated the 70s station list, and tried to keep it updated for a while. Work and life eventually intervened. That said, the list has gotten so out of date that I got really frustrated recently. I stink at HTML, even the basics, so doing the list at the start of this thread could be painful, plus updating slogans and web pages and links to audio feeds proved very time consuming. But spending one long morning with Excel was a lot easier. So I went through all the pages on here and any notes I had and made an Excel spreadsheet of what I think is pretty close to the current situation, containing the call signs, cities, dates and times of airings. I'm glad to share, and will try to keep it current at least for awhile (and if anyone wants to share any errors/changes, please do -- I am sure there are mistakes). The spreadsheet is at bit.ly/2bsMTkV. (Note: The days of the week are preceded by numbers for sorting purposes.)
