KEGK Fargo 106,9 plays again time warp instead of Casey Kasem 80´s show. Seems KEGK really has axed AT40 - one good quality 128kbit stream less to listen to...

KEGK had been my 'go-to' station for DAR.fm recording ever since I discovered all of this over two years ago... I realize that no station continues the same programming forever, but it's still so disappointing...

Thank you, yes KEGK has axed the 80s show, 2 weeks now that the 80s show is not on air. A real pity.

Thank you, yes KEGK has axed the 80s show, 2 weeks now that the 80s show is not on air. A real pity. This is the message I received from KEGK: We feel, after so many years and the passing of Casey Kasem, that the Top 40 show had run it's course. We are trying something new. Please, give it a chance. We appreciate your comment and thanks for listening!!

That is too bad. That said, Time Warp is probably my favorite show outside of Casey shows, and although it is geared much more to a classic rock format than classic hits, it is a fantastic show that is extremely well produced. Bill St. James rallied after he lost Flashback and honestly to me sounds better than ever.

No AT40 on KBGO (Waco, TX) at the indicated time. This was the first time I've ever tried that station, as I was looking for one at 11 AM. Instead I went with KISC (Spokane, WA) which is doing a great job so far; playing everything without a lot of extra talk or other inserts.

Going by the tweet they air the show on a friday 2pm eastern ,then air the 70s show on saturday 9am then rerun both sows on sunday from 6pm - nice sounding 128kbps MP3 stream too I haven't been on here for a while - good to see what's going on every now and then. I stumbled upon this station today online, and was glad to see mention of it here in the thread.

WLDE last weekend has aired Mar 28, 1987 (WLDE was formerly known as airing AT40: 70s). Captain Chris emailed me that WLDE is testing for AT40: 80s, it's undetermined whether to keep it, based on listener's input. I'll continue to check for this weekend if they can continue to play 80s.

It's official. WLDE will air AT40 80s, replacing AT40 70s. 80s will air every Sunday 7:15amish to 11:15amish depending on commercials. They play optional extra but only occasionally.
WLDE had previously aired AT40 70s since most of time, i dont remember when it started (I first listened to it in fall 2011), and it was last listened two weeks ago.

In light of the number of stations that have dropped the ball and aired last week's show again this week, I tried KISC - Spokane, WA. Haven't listened to the entire playback, but they played all 4 hours and all 4 optional extra songs with pretty good audio. And they are an iheart station, so apparently it's not all of the ihearts that messed up the show. Just in case anyone wants to know...
WRIP also appeared to do a nice job with the show this week, but it sounds like that's not unusual for them.

KQSN in Ponca City, OK is airing the 1980 countdown back-to-back tonight; do they do this every Saturday evening? Yes they do. When it ends they start again One note on KQSN (I've been listening to this station for the last 3 weeks): They seem to dump/not play the third hour extra consistently on both the initial and replay. Also, WTOJ has been running all the extras consistantly for the last few weeks.
