It was around this time in 1967 I had the scary Nancy Sinatra hit "Lightning's Girl going through my mind. A year later, it may have been "Elenore," from the Turtles. Nov. 2, 1969 was a cloudy Sunday, and the song may have been Tom Jones's "I'll Never Fall in Love Again," which had first charted two years prior.

I recall hearing Mary Hopkin's "Those Were the Days" on a rainy afternoon in late 1968, and it may very well have been this date. for 1969, a possibility may have been Steve Lawrence's MOR-only hit "The Drifter." Here are the song dates that i know for sure:

It was around this date in 1966 that I had Roger Williams' "Born Free" going through my mind. A possibility for 1968 could have been the Beatles' "Hey Jude." As for 1969, I recall hearing Fifth Dimension's "Wedding Bell Blues" around this time.

A year later, it may have been another Rivers hit, "Poor Side of Town." the year 1967, our coldest Nov. 16--and our earliest-ever single-digit temperature, it may have been Lulu's "To Sir with Love." 1968's winner may have been Stevie Wonder's "For Once in My Life." The final year of the '60s may have belonged to Tommy James & the Shondells' "BGall of Fire."

This date in 1966 may have been the date for New Vaudeville Band's "Winchester Cathedral," one of a handful of songs that I recall hearing as a five-year-old. 1967 may have been the time for MOR singer Bobby Vinton's "Please Love Me Forever.
