In honor of Halloween, here's a band that's suited for the holiday. From their first album in almost twenty years to feature the original lineup, and the first one since the early 80s to feature them in makeup, the title track from Kiss' Psycho Circus was at the top of the Mainstream Rock chart for a single week - the week ending October 31, 1998.

Faith No More bassist Billy Gould has said that the following song "sucks", and the band has rarely performed it since its release. Personally I'm not sure why, as I like the song and don't think it's as bad as they say it is. Anyway, "Falling to Pieces" debuted on the November 10, 1990 Hot 100 at the spot where it ended up peaking - #92.

I heard this song on the radio once back in the 90s and I've just remembered it ever since. Comedic songwriter Pat Godwin released his tale of holiday family dysfunction, "Thanksgiving at My House", off his album Reindeer Games back in 1992 on the label Rage'n Records; the album was subsequently re-released in 1993 (by Blood Records Inc.) and 1995 (by Ikon Records).

Another good song; it was on that same CD single, which I have. Good choice!

Thanks! I like "Message of Love" way more than I ever did "When You Love a Woman" (nothing against the song, just wasn't into it).
