Gillette was first featured a year earlier in 1994 singing on the 20 Fingers dance track "Short Short Man" - I song I heard a lot in 1994 on WBBM B-96 FM Chicago.

A big rock radio hit back in the 90s, Pearl Jam's "Black" reached a peak of #3 for two weeks on the Album Rock/Mainstream Rock chart. This week in 1993, it was down to #17.

"Bubbling Under" at #105 in Billboard, The Chemical Brothers' "Block Rockin' Beats" was down to #116 this week in 1997, its 9th week on the chart out of a total of 27 weeks.

"Forever Amo'r" by the duo D'zyre was debuting on the Hot 100 at #87 this week in 1991; however, the freestyle dance song only reached #77 in Billboard.

In its second week on the Mainstream Rock chart, "The Down Town" by Days of the New was up to #26 this week in 1998. The song would eventually reach #1 and stay there for a total of 10 weeks. In addition to the album version, there was also a radio remix version which is the one I remember hearing at the time.
