Today's pick from 1991 comes from a family act based out of Springfield and debuted on the Hot 100 this week at #89, eventually peaking at #69. It would be their only song to reach the Hot 100*, but they would find much greater longevity on television (over 30 years and counting). Here's "Deep, Deep Trouble" by the Simpsons featuring Bart and Homer.
* Not counting the airplay-only hit "Do the Bartman".

Although today is St. Patrick's Day, the artist I'm including as today's pick is not Irish despite having an Irish last name. Best known as a basketball star, he also dabbled in rapping and acting, and currently appears on numerous commercials and infomercials. This week in 1994, he was at his peak position of #47 on the Hot 100 with the song "I'm Outstanding". Here's Shaquille O'Neal:

I remember hearing this lost classic as a sneak peak sometime in 1993. I don't think it ever made the chart. Still one of my favorites though:) Mr.Big-Ain't Seen Love Like That While going through this thread at the end of last year to see which songs were already posted, I remembered that this one never had a video attached. Since it was on the same 1994 Hot 100 as the Shaq song I just posted, I'm finally including its video in the thread as an extra this week.

I thought it might have hit AT40, but didn't check beforehand to confirm it. I also thought it hit CT40, but it wasn't listed on the website for Radio and Records chart info.

If so, it didn't work out so well as a prediction.
