This Week's Lost 90s Classic is a duet featuring Grayson Hugh and Betty Wright. Grayson's only Top 40 hit was the 1989 song, "Talk It Over" which peaked at #19. Betty Wright is most famous for her #6 hit, "Clean Up Woman" from 1971, and her duet with Peter Brown, "Dance With Me" which peaked at #8 in 1978. Grayson and Betty together sang this tune which was moving up 3 notches to #86 on the 4/7/90 Hot 100. This song would peak at #67. This Week's Lost 90s Classic is from Richard Marx. This song was the first release from his 1997 CD, "Flesh & Bone", and it was debuting at #73 on the 4/19/97 Hot 100. This Week's Lost 90s Classic is from Expose'. This was their last single to make the Hot 100, and it was moving up four notches to #86 on the 4/23/94 Hot 100. It would peak the following week at #84. This video has some all-star 90s power as Salt-N-Pepa are featured on guest vocals, and dancing in the background are T-Boz and Left Eye from TLC who would first hit the pop charts on their own in '92. On the 4/27/91 Hot 100, this song was moving up three notches to #83 on its way to a #73 peak. This was a Top 5 song on the R&B chart. The group released five songs from their debut album with the first, third and fifth releases hitting the Top 10: "Semi-Charmed Life", "Jumper" and "How's It Gonna Be". Their second and and fourth singles, "Graduate" and "Losing A Whole Year" failed to make the Hot 100 but almost became Top 10 alternative hits.
