Why aren't they keeping the remains in Washington like he requested?

Look, while I don't like Jean at all, the kids, media and everyone else have been whining for over a month now about how she wasn't claiming Casey Kasem's body from that Washington state mortuary to bury at Forest Lawn in SoCal, they should've filed their court order right after he passed away, so why didn't they?!

they should've filed their court order right after he passed away, so why didn't they?! Agreed and that is what I was thinking as well on why didn't they filed the court order the day after he passed away and it looks like this could drag on too.

I am sick to my stomach reading this. Can't believe this is going on and Casey cannot rest in peace. May Jean rot in hell and have even worse treatment at the hands of Liberty or whoever when she is old and can't take care of herself.

I question the credibility of this report -- no writer byline and no sources quoted. TMZ has the same story, word for word, and offers nothing more. National Enquirer stuff.

I don't question it. Extra is a TV show, the byline may just be them as a whole.

Pretty simple, that evil woman Jean is not only keeping Casey's family away while he was alive, she's also doing it now that he's passed away. She doesn't even want them being able to visit his grave. If we all wish hard enough would Jean Kasem spontaneously combust?

According to multiple sources, the US has had an extradition agreement with Norway. Given the Santa Monica investigation is still as of now open, there is a chance his remains can be returned. dL

According to NBC News (not sure how to link it via mobile), Jean says that Casey said that Norway "symbolizes peace and looks like heaven and I would like to respectfully fulfill his wishes". (Um, if Casey loved Norway so much, then why did he request to be buried in Los Angeles? And did he ever go to the country?)
Jean supposedly wrote this in a letter to the Norwegian government stating her desire to not only bury Casey there but for her (and Liberty?) to move there by the end of the year.

I'd love it if their government wrote back and said "you are who exactly?"

I'd love it if their government wrote back and said "you are who exactly?" Her er noen lutefisk. Vennligst ga bort. ("Here's some lutefisk. Please go away.") (Lutefisk is codfish that's been steeped in lye. It's a well known Norwegian dish, and actually quite good if not pleasing to all tastes.)
